Built in 1920 by railway tycoon Henry Flagler, this lodging (on the National Register of Historic Places) has the "best location" in the area, and it's also just about the only one with "its own beachfront" and two oceanfront pools; the "redone rooms are lovely", the staff pleasant and the atmosphere very "old Key West", but you'll have to "go down to Duval Street" for decent dining say those who judge the food "mediocre."

A bit far from the other attractions in Key West.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and catered to our every need.

The parking fee was $20 per day.

Casa Marina is considered a 5 star hotel. The staff was very friendly and made sure we were aware off all amenities. The front desk clerk was very kind and made sure our stay was one to remember.

Every where you looked was something beautiful.

There was a $20 dollar a day "Resort Fee".

I loved this hotel and have nothing but great things to say about it with the exception of a $20.00 a day resort fee that seams very misleading. If a hotel tells you a rate per night the entire fee should be included. For such a wonderful resort I can't imagine sneaking a fee in like this would be worth someone writing a negative review. ...read more

It was a beautiful, relaxing oasis within walking distance to town.

This hotel was beautiful from the moment you walked into the lobby. The view of the water through the palm trees was amazing. We travel all over the world and have been to Key West before and previously stayed on the water by Mallory Square. I didn't know there was such a peaceful, laid back resort just a mile or so from the excitement of Key West down town. Our travel friends enjoyed it immensely too. ...read more

Back room - Clean and met expectations. Staff was OK for a 4 star. Cost of extras is something to be careful of.
